Program Development Company (GridPro) to Exhibit and Present at ASME Turbo Expo 2026 in Milan
MIAMI, FL – May 18, 2026
Program Development Company (PDC), developers of the GridPro structured meshing platform, is pleased to announce its participation at the ASME Turbo Expo 2026, taking place June 15–19 in Milan, Italy. As one of the leading international technical conferences focused on turbomachinery, Turbo Expo brings together engineers, researchers, and industry leaders from around the world to discuss the latest advances in turbine technology, propulsion, energy systems, and simulation.
As part of the technical program, Peter Eiseman, President of Program Development Company, will present: “Mesh Provenance for Physical AI: Quality Requirements for Turbomachinery Simulation Data When the Consumer is a Neural Network” on Tuesday, June 16 at 1:45 PM.
The presentation will explore the growing role of high-fidelity simulation data in the development of Physical AI and machine learning workflows. As neural networks increasingly rely on CFD-generated datasets for training and prediction, the quality, consistency, and provenance of the underlying mesh becomes critically important. The session will examine the requirements for generating trustworthy
turbomachinery simulation data and the impact mesh topology and quality can have on AI-driven engineering workflows.
“ASME Turbo Expo and IGTI have been an important part of the turbomachinery community for decades, and we are proud to continue supporting the event and contributing to the technical discussions shaping the future of simulation,” said Peter Eiseman, President of Program Development Company. “
“As AI and machine learning become increasingly integrated into engineering workflows, the quality and provenance of simulation data becomes more critical than ever. We are excited to share some of our work in this area while also connecting with engineers focused on advancing turbomachinery CFD.”
In addition to the technical presentation, PDC will also be exhibiting on the show floor, showcasing GridPro’s advanced structured meshing capabilities for turbomachinery applications.
Structured meshes continue to be a preferred choice for turbomachinery CFD due to their unparalleled advantages in accuracy, efficiency, and solution quality. By aligning the mesh directly with flow paths, GridPro enables engineers to accurately capture complex flow phenomena, including rotor-stator interactions and boundary layer effects, with exceptional precision.
GridPro’s multi-block structured meshing approach significantly reduces numerical diffusion, preserving solution fidelity across the computational domain while optimizing mesh density in critical regions. This allows engineers to achieve detailed resolution exactly where it is needed without unnecessarily increasing computational cost.
Attendees visiting the PDC booth will have the opportunity to see how GridPro creates high-quality, production-ready meshes capable of accurately representing complex turbomachinery geometries and components while maintaining solver efficiency and robustness.
